Hello beautiful people,

Today I will be highlighting AAliyah Choi, in this weeks “The Power of Women Empowerment”.

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself + what it is you do and where can we find you on social media?

My name is AAliyah Choi, I am 23 years old.

I am a mother of one and I am married.

I was diagnosed with PCOS ( polycystic ovarian syndrome) at the age of 21.

Unfortunately the lack of care and knowledge lead to some serious complications, which almost cost me my life.

Instead of giving up, I took it upon myself to educate myself and become an advocate. Now I blog to educate my community on this disorder.

2. What does women empowerment mean to you?

Women empowerment to me is more than just building each other up. I

t’s about bringing unity within our womanhood.

We were once divided at one point, Now we our building a nation full of queen’s.

3. What do you love about women empowerment?

The fact that we help each other see the true beauty in ourselves.

We lift each other up.

We are a family, no matter the race, the age or religious background.

We all have a gift to share with the world.

4. What is something you’re willing to bring to women empowerment?

I would say my motivation.

I’m that type person who wants to see everyone eat.

A queen never let’s her fellow Queen’s starve. We can all win, with the right amount of motivation and support.

5. How are you showing up for yourself and other women?

The first way I showed up for myself was starting my blog, my blog help me step out my comfort zone and use my voice, which lead me to helping other women speak up for themselves in medical world.

If I can save one person from going through the things I did medically.

I can definitely say I use my voice to the fullest.

6. What are 3-5 things you value about being a woman?

Our drive- I feel that once I set my mind on something, I will go through war to get it.

The love – The love we have as women is pure, nothing compares to a woman’s love.

Confidence- If we don’t have confidence in ourselves, we don’t truly unlock our full potential we have to offer. So slay Queen’s.
