when one door closes, a few more open!

Hello God’s beautiful creations,

Let me tell y’all how amazing God is and how much he is showing up and showing out in my life… so yesterday 1/5/17 I was supposed to have a phone interview with this amazing company and guess what? They stood me up, isn’t that C R A Z Y? Yup, the lady stood me up and to think she sent me a confirmation email about our scheduled interview is the mind blowing part!

Fast forward a little bit….

I sent the lady an email once I got back to my desk and she sincerely apologized and wanted to reschedule our phone interview! I was kind of skeptical of agreeing to another phone interview, but I didn’t! I didn’t even respond back, because not only did I waste my entire lunch waiting on her to call me, it took for me to email her to tell her she forgot about our scheduled interview…. I just thought it was a sign the job wasn’t for me and simply unprofessional!

Proverbs 3:5

“Trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.”

Maybe not even an hour after she responded to my message, two more jobs contacted me wanting to set up an interview for next week! Not only did one job email me, another job emailed me as well! Both amazing career jobs, amazing pay, benefits and also great locations! I’m so overjoyed right now because God is so faithful and his timing is always right! Maybe that job wasn’t for me and God blocked it before I even got a chance to have an interview! I just think that it’s important to pay attention to signs early, maybe they’re telling you whether or not something is for you and whether it’s not for you!

‭‭PHILIPPIANS‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭

“Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.”

I think that it’s so easy for us to not understand God’s plan and what he is doing behind the scenes and that’s when worrying + frustration comes in at! I could’ve easily got discouraged and started to give up on my job search but I didn’t! I trusted God and believed he was going to send me something bigger + better and he did just that! Who knows what God has in store for me with these two interviews this up and coming week, but guess what? I’m showing up and out!! I feel like God has been showing me so many signs this year and it’s only been six days! I just encourage you all to keep your eyes and ears O P E N !!! ❤️
