Reflecting on September.

Hello everyone,

Today is the last day of September and I am feeling so amazing! This month started off really rough for me and I’m just thankful that I’m able to start completely over next month and get a lot of much needed things accomplished! Today I asked myself “What is it that you need to do, in order to be successful or what do you need to do in order to attract bigger/better things in life”? I feel like in order for me to do and be successful, I NEED to find some type of balance in my life!

I need to make sure that my soul and mind is balanced, because man when you’re tackling on so many different projects you don’t even realize that you haven’t been doing any self care and I know how vital self care is! I need to make sure my mind is completely clear and that I’m spending/taking care of myself! Most days I feel like a chicken with its head cut off because I’m just doing so much and I don’t allow my mind and body to just relax! That’s definitely one of my goals for the month of October and moving forward!

I have so many amazing things I’m doing right now and I can’t wait to share them with all of you, just need to make sure everything is in line before I say a word lol. This month I have noticed that without shifting + changing a few things around in life, you’ll always be stuck in the same exact spot and I refuse to be in the same spot this time next year! October is all about self improvement and becoming GREAT in every aspect in my life! I’m also going to finish my 2017 vision board, I’ll post it on the blog soon! But other than that, I’m ready for the month of October and all of the greatness that’s about to happen in my life! Stay blessed! ❤️

Hello beautiful souls, I'm Takeia Cage, and I'm the CEO/Founder of Unashamed Queens! I'm an advocate, momtrepreneur, life coach, and motivational blogger. I have always been dedicated to helping women re-discover their light, while walking in their truth, unashamed! It wasn’t until I was in my early twenties, when I discovered my calling to be an advocate for the women in my community. I have always wanted to be apart of a sisterhood that supported, uplifted, and celebrated women without us feeling judged or even ashamed of our journey. There wasn’t many women empowerment groups in my community that actually focused on celebrating queens, so I decided to create my own community for unashamed women. Now I am the founder of Unashamed Queens, a women’s empowerment group that focuses on supporting, uplifitng, and celebrating queenhood. I would always tell myself years ago that you can’t help anyone if you can’t help yourself, and today I believe that statement is so untrue. It wasn’t until I was re-discovering my own light, that I wanted to also encourage/help other women to re-discover theirs as well. I truly believe that we’re all stronger together, and that creating a safe-space for women to feel support and loved through sisterhood.
