I’ve been trying to get into the hang of which days I want to make my blog post, but I feel as if whenever I have something to say, I’m going to just post lol. I’ll get it together one day and be on a more better time schedule! But anywho, I just wanted to talk about how amazing God is and how he will redirect your route in life just when you feel like you’ve made a mistake!
As I’m laying on my couch, listening to the wind blow it’s about 3:13 am and I have the worse case of insomnia ever! I just can’t stop thinking about life and how amazing God has always been to me!Yesterday (9/19) I was listening to Joel Osteen podcast and he proceeded to talk about how God redirects our steps when he feels as if we aren’t going the right way, just like our gps system when we get lost, it recalculates our destination when we miss our exit or turn! I just thought that message was so powerful and very vital to me because I struggle so much with forgiving myself when I make small mistakes, instead of just allowing God to redirect me! I immediately want to give up because I don’t want to reroute, I want the route I felt like I needed to go and now I’m learning that it’s not about what I want, but it’s about where God wants me to be headed!
Basically what I’m saying is, just because you make one small mistake in life doesn’t mean God doesn’t have a backup plan for you! You just have to listen to the gps(God) and he will bring you right to your destination! God doesn’t get mad or doesn’t forgive us because we make mistakes, he simply tries to show us a different way and it’s really up to us to either listen to his demands or end back up on the side of the road while he reroutes us again. I think it’s mind blowing how we don’t have any type of patience when it comes to us missing an exit, but God is so patient he never makes us feel as if we did something wrong because that’s how faithful he is to us!
Just as much as God is patient with us, we also have to be patient with ourselves! “God will turn your mistakes into miracles” -Joel Osteen. That statement right there just gives me the clarification that I have absolutely NOTHING to worry about, God has everything covered for me and knowing that I can sleep good at night because he has never wanted nothing but the best for me and just by knowing that, I’m forever thankful for his unconditional love! But anyways, that’s all I really wanted to say! I’m getting sleepy, goodnight or morning lol. ❤️
